Description
  • The ecotoxicological characterization of waste is part of its assessment as hazardous or non-hazardous according to the European Waste List. However, as of the year 2007 no methodological recommendations have been provided to cover the hazard criterion H14 "ecotoxicity". Therefore, the "H14 EU Ring Test" evaluated a biotest battery, which can be used to assess the ecotoxicity of waste material and waste eluates.
